"The first preschool I enrolled my daughter at had a fancy building and she did daily crafts, but all of the kids' crafts looked alike. The teachers cut out shapes and showed where to glue each part. At Montessori Children's House each child's creativity shines through in his or her own way. "Friends" have responsibility for their own work and each child takes on the tasks he or she is ready for. I have seen remarkable growth in my daughter's self-esteem and willingness to risk trying new things. MCH has a great balance between imaginative play and focused work time that encourages academic growth, but really lets her be a kid."
